How do I find people and tournaments to play in?

Its getting to the end of the summer now and my tennis lessons end soon, but i'm finally getting really good! I want to still be good when tennis season starts so I can finally beat my 2 (friendly) rivals. I don't have anyone to play that's very close to my level.
