How do you find people on YouTube by email address?

I tried searching for some people by email address and couldn't find them. I even tried searching for myself by user name and email and no results showed up. But I just changed my privacy setting to allow someone to find you by email, does it take awhile for my results to show up?|||if its private you cant but if its public it should be under their info but they can hide it from viewers
